Spotify may have released their 2024 Wrapped playlist, but a brief delay for some users caused significant meltdowns.
Fans of the music streaming platform took to social media to share their frustration after seeing their peers posting about their year in music but not being able to find where their own Wrapped section was located in the app.
Spotify Wrapped is a personalized experience that lets you dig deep into your musical obsessions from the past twelve months, revealing trendy or tragic listening habits that people often share online.
“I hate that Spotify makes me delete the app and then re-download it EVERY YEAR just to see it packed away,” one user raged on Wednesday.
“WHERE MY SPOTIFY IS PACKAGED,” another wrote angrily.
“Where y’all let your spotify pack i’m so serious (sic),” someone else added.
“I see other people have packed up their Spotify and mine isn’t there,” a fourth person wrote, along with a video of a man knocking over a coffee table.
“I just woke up and I still haven’t picked up Spotify…” groaned one.

“People opening and closing Spotify and looking packed,” one social media user shared, along with a gif of a woman with multiple phones in front of her.
Others were outraged by the subpar graphics compared to other years.
“The packaged Spotify is disappointing and smells of AI… there seems to be a real lack of effort this year, from the boring visuals to the missing genres and quirks,” one user complained.
“Spotify wrapped is finally out and it took the longest it’s ever taken to come out and yet it’s the least detailed I’ve ever seen… where are the funny genres etc,” another agreed.
